ACURT Series

The ACURT2 and ACURT4 Networked Intelligent Controller panels operate with GE’s Topaz Access Control and Security Management systems. Panels offer the widest range of features and flexibility, with a design focus on reliability, durability, and ease of installation and maintenance. ACURT series panels are designed with a sophisticated 32-bit platform, 90 MHz microprocessor and configured with 16 megabytes of memory, allowing high speed processing of access and alarm transactions. Each panel supports high-capacity local storage and up to 250,000 cardholders.

Standard Features
Supports multi-drop connection to the server via RS485 for environments where a LAN connection is not available; also supports RS232 connection. Optional dial-up communication allows field panels to operate off-line in remote locations and supports remote database download, historical activity and alarm reporting. Updates can occur over the LAN/WAN, RS-485, RS-232 and dial-up connections.
Elevator control support is standard.
The ACURT supports local Anti-Passback, which prevents a card or badge from gaining access to an area more than once without it first being used to exit from that area.
Operating firmware is stored in FLASH memory for easy updates from the server so there is no need to go to each panel and replace PROMs.
Instant Access ensures that there is no waiting for access if a download is in progress with the ACURT panel.
The enclosure is designed with a slip hinge metal enclosure with tamper switch provides ease of installation and service as well as security.
Connection diagram overlay allows for easier wiring and installation as well as viewing of system diagnostic LEDs.
